PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITY
Supply and demand management: (60%)
Manages the day-to-day business requests and requirements from different departments like Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Procurement and Customer Service. Handles product shortages and manages day to day allocation of the dedicated product groups and supports the other team members. For fulfilling the demanded volumes, inventory settings are defined and monitored. In addition, a demand outlook is provided to the supplying sites based on criteria such as forecast, historical sales data, market information.
Attends regular S&OP calls with the sites as well as other regular meetings to receive and provide updates on the supply and demand situation.
Supply Chain Improvement: (20%)
Acts as a key user for the buy-resell and trading process. Makes recommendations to improve cost, quality and efficiency of operations.
Supply Chain Reporting and Projects: (20%)
Is reporting Supply Chain KPIs and supports the Supply Chain department in projects and other day-to-day business activities such as master data setups.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE BASE
Strong supply chain knowledge, e.g. demand/supply planning, inventory management;
Strong ERP (SAP-F2P, OTC) knowledge, good knowledge with CRM system
Strong skills with MS Office.
Excellent communication skills

As part of the supply chain management team, collaborate with other colleagues globally to support business growth ambitions while achieving supply chain KPIs.

Example:
The Supply Chain Specialist will need to align with the Supply Chain Manager and the PL/ BL Heads on product segmentation changes such as from Make to stock to make to order or vice versa. Additionally, significant safety stock level adaptions will be discussed with the same stakeholders.

Other Specifications:
University, major in Supply chain Mgt. is a plus
At least 5 years work experience in the supply chain related function.
Experienced in working in a multi-cultural environment, with fluent English in both oral and written;
Strong ability to effectively manage/coordinate multiple tasks under time pressure.
