Leading technical validation of Biochemicals with key customers and troubleshoot product & process issue such as polymerization, mixing and compounding. ​
Strengthen polymer/composites competencein AsRC to support business growth of lignin-based materials.​
Insight to APAP sustainable market trend and utilize technicalexpertise to enhance the business strategies and visionfor Biochemicals.​
Comply with UPM EHS standards, R&D quality and compliance rules.

Who you are
You have a Master’s degree in wood chemistry/lignin or Polymer Science with experience in a technical service role.
You have 3-5 years’ experience in polymers and resin industry, preferably phenol-formaldehyde resin and rubber industry, understand technical service for new business.
You have good expertise in polymerization and polymer conversion processes such as mixing and compounding, and ISO and ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) testing specifications is an additional plus
You have “make it work at pilot/production site” mentality, to ensure the success of new technology improvements and the implementation at clients.
You have strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external client.
You have good ability to define problems, identify opportunities and develop creative solutions.
You have good written and verbal communication skill in English and Chinese, as well as computer skill
